Pearls in Action: September Chapter Highlights
We are Back in Session! GenNext kicked off our chapter meeting with spirited pre-game festivities featuring HBCU Trivia, where members Jaelyn, Amari, and Aesha earned bragging rights as our trivia winners! The fun continued with a lively “Rep Your College” parade. As we transitioned into the business of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the spirit of sisterhood remained strong. Members conducted the work of the chapter with purpose, fellowship, and plenty of smiles.
Special moments were had as we celebrated birthdays, welcomed visitors, and discussed wellness and self-care as we recognized Suicide Prevention Awareness Month & Self-Care Awareness Month and encouraged members to make space for themselves, check in with one another, and remember that every member matters. |
